My Progression Through the Years

Early Animation Works

Showcases of my earliest works. Filled with Ideas but lacking in fundamentals

My first introductory animation into 3D art seriously. The water and materials were created by me while the shark model was downloaded from sketch fab.

This is an animation that I was more proud of compared my earlier attempts. The tornado and the water and their respective materials were all done by me. The buoy was downloaded from sketch-fab and shirink-wrapped into the ocean mesh to get this bouncing look.

I created this work to learn more about particle effects and to better understand composition. At this time I wasn’t focused on animation as strongly as currently. This can be seen in the Mandolorian mesh. The Mandolorian’s rig and animation were created using ActorCore and their skinning and mo-cap tools.

Mid-level works

These videos are the start of my study of the fundamentals of animation and focus into pure animation.

Bouncing ball animation. Ranging from a standard bouncing ball, Extra bouncy ball, to finally a heavy bouncing ball.

This was the first run animation I did following a course.

Short playblast of a camera movement animation test. I was trying to familiarize myself with camera movement and focus length changes, as well as some squash and stretch on the main mesh.

latest Work

This is currently my best and latest works. I have to thank Animator Pierrick Picaut for his knowledge and resources. All the models used here were provided by him. With the animation all done by me.

Early walk cycle test for a large mech.

The finalized mech walk cycle.

Mech artillery animation.

Run animation.

Walk animation.

MMA fight animation.

Animation of a particularly jumpy squirrel.

This is the one I’m most proud of. It took around 2 weeks to fully finish from blocking to polish. I tried my best to be as close to the ref as possible.
